Tomas Jurco, 2011 draft pick, took time at the prospects tourney to answer your twitter questions.
Q: @HockeyNutChelios - What's your favorite Calder Cup moment/memory from last year?
A: "My favorite moment will always be lifting the Cup and the celebration with my teammates. Personally, when I scored the winning goal in Game 7 of the Conference Finals."
Q: Adam Longo (@Adam_Longo) - Pizza or tacos?
A: "I like pizza but I like European pizza best. It's thinner than American pizza and it just tastes so good."
Q: Stephen Kravick (@gongshow19) - What's been the hardest adjustment for you coming to America? Both playing hockey and off the ice.
A: "On the ice, I think I'm used to it now but when I was younger it was the speed of the game because the rink is smaller than Europe. Off the ice, for sure leaving the family every season and coming here and not seeing them as much as I'd like."
Q: @3rdshiftgamer - Is there a player or idol of yours you have model yourself after on or off the ice?
A: "There's a lot of great NHL players, but I'd say Hossa or Datsyuk are two of my favorite players."
Q: Zach Harris (@ZWHarris13) - Tomas, who has most influenced/helped you while transitioning to the AHL/NHL?
A: "I think the coaches have really helped me and so has the front office and my teammates, but it was up to me to handle the transition so I've had to take that next step, too, but the coaches have always helped me a lot."
