DETROIT -- Joe Louis Arena is going to the dogs Friday, Feb. 27 as the Red Wings take on the Los Angeles Kings at 7:30 p.m. (FSN-Plus & 97.1 The Ticket).
Fans are encouraged to arrive early as the first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive red doggie bandannas, courtesy of Critter Control. Doors open at 6 p.m.
Petapalooza celebrates man’s best friend by offering Wings fans the opportunity to interact with pooches from the Dearborn Animal Shelter who will be on the Joe Louis concourse and up for adoption. Dogs in town for the Detroit Kennel Club (DKC) Dog Shows will also be roving 'The Joe' and will participate in a Parade of Dogs on-ice at the first intermission. Fans will have the opportunity to win tickets to the DKC Dog Shows throughout the night.
