The Tampa Bay Lightning comes to town for one last showdown with the Red Wings, as the 2014-15 season will come to a close in two weeks. Tampa is seeking a four game sweep of the Red Wings this season. However, Detroit has other plans as they look to turn thing around. This is the final game of a four game homestand in which the Red Wings are currently 1-1-1. Riley Sheahan, who is seventh on the Red Wings in scoring with 34 points, is day-to-day with an upper-body injury, per Coach Babcock. Forward Pavel Datsyuk skated with Tomas Tatar and Darren Helm during line rushes Friday, but Coach Babcock wasn't sure if he would play. Datsyuk has missed the past five games with a lower-body injury.

Petr Mrazek will start in goal for the Red Wings. "It's a challenge" Mrazek said, “We’ve lost two games in a row at home so going into the third game, being starting goalie is nice, but it’s one game tomorrow and we have to go game by game and see what happens.”
