November's $9 tickets on sale Oct. 20

DETROIT -- The hottest ticket in town goes on sale Saturday, October 20 as the Red Wings continue selling a new $9 ticket for all home games at Joe Louis Arena. The special $9 ticket goes on sale -- for November home dates -- at 10 a.m. on Oct. 20.

The Red Wings' November home schedule is as follows:

Wed., Nov. 7 vs. Nashville, 7:30 p.m.
Fri., Nov. 9 vs. Columbus, 7:30 p.m.
Sat., Nov. 17 vs. Chicago, 7 p.m.
Wed., Nov. 21 vs. St. Louis, 7:30 p.m.
Tue., Nov. 27 vs. Calgary, 7 p.m.
Thu., Nov. 29 vs. Tampa Bay, 7:30 p.m.

The $9 tickets will be released on a monthly-basis throughout the season and will only be available for purchase at the Joe Louis Arena box office with a limit of two tickets per person.

For Red Wings' fans, there's reason to celebrate: the team will offer a new $9 ticket this season.
In addition to the $9 ticket, all available single-game tickets for home games in October, November and December are available. Reserved seats are priced at $22, $44 and $54. Additionally, tickets starting at just $22 per seat are available in 6, 12, 22 and 41-game packages by calling 313-396-7575.

Fans can purchase the single-game tickets for the first three months of the season at the Joe Louis Arena box office, all Ticketmaster locations including Hockeytown Café, Hockeytown Authentics in Troy, or charge by phone at 248-645-6666. Fans also can purchase tickets by logging on to

The Joe Louis Arena box office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday; Hockeytown Café is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday; Hockeytown Authentics is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 12-5 p.m. on Sunday. Hockeytown Authentics is located near the corner of Big Beaver and John R in Troy.
