Morning Skate Update

by Staff Writer / Detroit Red Wings

Mike Babcock says the Wings will go with the same lineup as they did in Game 4, which means Sammy will stay on first line.

“I've felt good. I shouldn't say surprising, but I felt like I've been in.
I felt fresh and like I can go tomorrow again.”
-Mikael Samuelsson told Ansar Khan

“(Sammy) looked good. He skated well. He's a big body for us and he hasn't played many games this year so he will only be better with the more games he plays.”
- Henrik Zetterberg told Ansar Khan

Coach Babcock will also stick with the same
Power Play units as Game 4.

Jimmy Howard will start his 20th straight game, and he touched on the importance of good postseason goaltending.

"In the playoffs, all it takes is a goalie to get hot,
and anything can happen."
- Jimmy Howard

Jonas Hiller is again in goal for Anaheim.

Toni Lydman is out tonight with migraines and neck pain.
There is no timetable on his return.

Jan Mursak, who started the year with the Wings, has signed with a KHL team and will leave the States after the Griffins postseason.
