The Red Wings take the ice for optional morning skate in preparation for tonight’s game against the Flames

Jan Mursak participated in morning skate for the first time since his injury.

“I’ve been skating for a few days now on my own. My shoulder is getting better. I’m still a week or two away from being able to get some contact on that shoulder…I felt good shooting, passing, and skating.”
