"I'm excited for Nesty, it's pretty exciting for him. You want to
share this with the people you love and the people that helped
you along the way... he played well and he's earned his right to
start here today."

- Mike Babcock

"I think if you'd asked anybody a year ago if I was going to play in the NHL, they'd say 100 percent no... but I always hoped deep down it would happen and now it's here so I'm really happy for it."
- Andrej Nestrasil.

Nesty will play on a line with Darren Helm and Gustav Nyquist, and will likely get some time on the second power play unit, as well.

"We're really impressed with the development and the depth
of our group... we don't have as much star power as we used to,
but we have good depth and we're hopeful these kids
are going to turn into real players."
