Meijer Kids Nights set to return to Joe Louis Arena

DETROIT –  The Red Wings today announced that five of the team’s 2011-12 home games have been designated Meijer Kids Nights. These special matches will each feature a unique giveaway item for the first 2,500 fans in attendance aged 12 & under. Furthermore, face painters and an old-time-hockey organist will be present on these evenings to help add to the festive atmosphere at Joe Louis Arena.

Every Meijer Kids Night at The Joe will also include a special prerecorded video presentation during which a member of the Red Wings Kids Club will interview a Detroit player. More details on the new-and-improved Red Wings Kids Club can be found at
