DETROIT -- The first 5,000 fans to enter Joe Louis Arena on Sunday, March 30 for the Red Wings' game against the Nashville Predators will receive a collectible medallion album, courtesy of the Detroit Free Press and The Detroit News. In addition, all fans in attendance will receive an 11"x17" Gordie Howe photo card, sponsored by the U.S. Army. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for the 3 p.m. EDT start (FSN Detroit & 97.1 The Ticket) as the Red Wings will honor legend Gordie Howe in a special pre-game ceremony. Doors open at 1:30 p.m.
Each medallion album features a unique foldout display for all 21 collectible player medallions. Beginning March 31 through April 20, the Free Press and News will offer coupons redeemable for each medallion through participating retailers.
