DETROIT --As a fun, new way to give Detroit Red Wings fans an opportunity to access unique memorabilia from their favorite players and enjoy exclusive experiences, the Detroit Red Wings Foundation will host the #LGRW Online Auction from Monday, April 19 - Friday, May 7.

This exciting auction will feature special Red Wings items made available for a limited time only, as well as specific highlighted offers each week. There will also be exclusive memorabilia and one-of-a-kind items that are available through the entire auction period.
"The #LGRW Online Auction is unlike anything the Detroit Red Wings Foundation has ever offered our fans," said Red Wings and Tigers director of community impact Kevin Brown. "With so many unique items and spectacular limited-time offers, there is something in the auction for every Red Wings fan looking to support a great cause."
Auction items include a personalized jersey signed by the entire 2020-21 Red Wings roster, Little Caesars pizza for a year, a Red Wings and Tigers ticket package, an autographed Henrik Zetterberg Farewell Season collection, Tigers autographed memorabilia and much, much more.
Special "Flash" packages will also be unlocked throughout the auction period for 48 hours only, giving fans a chance to bid on virtual meet & greet experiences with Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin, four-time Stanley Cup champion Darren McCarty and executive vice president & general manager Steve Yzerman.
From April 24 - 30, Hockey Fights Cancer warmup jerseys and sticks will be offered as part of the #LGRW Online Auction, followed by Military Appreciation warmup jerseys and sticks from May 1 - 7. A limited number of player-used warmup pucks from each initiative will also be made available for purchase.
A portion of proceeds from the Hockey Fights Cancer and Military Appreciation items benefit American Cancer Society and Motor City Veterans Hockey Association, respectively.
"Fans that have become accustomed to bidding on Hockey Fights Cancer and Military Appreciation player-used elements will also have an opportunity to quickly bid on those one-of-a-kind items within the #LGRW Online Auction after players use them on the ice at Little Caesars Arena on April 24 and May 1," Brown said.
Net proceeds from the #LGRW Online Auction will directly support the Red Wings' Learn, Play, Score program in Detroit. Established during the 2019-20 season as part of an initial $1 million commitment from the Red Wings, Detroit Red Wings Foundation and NHL/NHLPA Industry Growth Fund, the Learn, Play, Score program is breaking down systemic barriers by introducing equitable access to hockey in various forms for thousands of children across the city of Detroit.
