DETROIT -- The Joe Louis Arena crowd will jump back in time Thursday as the Red Wings celebrate 80s Night when they get physical with the Los Angeles Kings at Joe Louis Arena at 7:30 p.m.
Every sharp dressed man and lady will want to break out their best 80s style clothes in order to get the look that will win great Red Wings prizes including tickets to an upcoming Red Wings game and official Wings' merchandise autographed by the players.
There will be 80s themed games all night long as fans play Name That Tune, Guitar Hero and sing Karaoke -- all with an 80s music theme. Contest winners will receive a Rubik’s Cubes, DVDs of an array of 80s movies and tickets to the upcoming Def Leppard concert at Joe Louis Arena.
Doors open at 6 p.m. for the Wings vs. Los Angeles Kings game. Tickets for Thursday’s game are currently on sale at $22, $44 and $54 at the Joe Louis Arena box office, all Ticketmaster locations including The Hockeytown Cafe, Hockeytown Authentics in Troy, or charge by phone at 248-645-6666. Fans also can purchase tickets by logging on to DetroitRedWings.com. Only single seats remain for the Wings’ final three home games in February (2/10 vs. Anaheim; 2/15 vs. Columbus; and 2/29 vs. San Jose).
