by Staff Writer / Detroit Red Wings
DETROIT -- Be among the first to own game-worn Red Wings' jerseys from the 2006-07 season.

Autographed game-used sticks, like these used by Pavel Datsyuk will be available for purchase.
Fans are invited to Joe Louis Arena on Friday, June 15, and Saturday, June 16 to purchase game-worn jerseys and equipment from this past season. Jerseys from prior seasons will also be available at discounted prices.

This event will be the first time that the 2006-07 Red Wings' game-worn jerseys will be available for purchase to the public. The jerseys are filled with a season's worth of scars and repairs appreciated by the savviest of hockey fans and collectors. Count the number of repairs on your favorite player's jersey.

And while not everyone can possess Pavel Datsyuk's scoring touch, you can purchase one of his RBK 9KO Reebok sticks, as well as sticks once used by your other favorite Red Wings, like Henrik Zetterberg, Johan Franzen, Mikael Samuelsson, Kirk Maltby, Brett Lebda, and more.

Other game-used and new equipment available for purchase includes:

  • Skates
  • Sticks
  • Gloves
  • Goalie pads
  • Helmets

Other items available are:

  • Autographed goal-scored pucks
  • Autographed player photos
  • Autographed pucks
  • Autographed books

A bevy of goal-pucks, like these signed by Nicklas Lidstrom will also be available.
Equipment manager Paul Boyer, who just finished his 13th season with the Red Wings, will be on-hand to answer all of your equipment questions.

The pro shop at Joe Louis Arena, featuring Red Wings apparel, novelty items, discounted bobbleheads, and more, will be open to the public during this free event. Bring your cameras and get your picture taken next to the Gordie Howe statue.

Doors open Friday, June 15 at 3-7 p.m., and Saturday, June 16 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free parking will be provided at the Riverfront/Executive lot next to the People Mover stop. Fans are asked to enter Joe Louis Arena through the West/Olympia Club entrance.
