DETROIT – Detroit Red Wings fans can get ready for the 2013 SiriusXM Hockeytown Winter Festival™ and the 2014 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic® by visiting the hockey-transformed D Shop at Comerica Park.
Sales will begin on Friday, Dec. 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The shop will also be open this weekend from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. before the Red Wings’ home games against the Pittsburgh Penguins at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and Tampa Bay Lightning at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. Fans hoping to do some holiday shopping or to prepare for the celebration of hockey at Comerica Park and Michigan Stadium can head down to browse a large selection of Red Wings Winter Classic and Festival merchandise. The D Shop will also still feature Detroit Tigers merchandise. Additionally, more shopping locations will be added in and around the ballpark once the events begin on Friday, Dec. 27. Official 2014 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic® and Alumni Showdown jerseys, sweatshirts, t-shirts and more will allow fans to take a piece of history home with them.
The store will be open for all events and games during the Hockeytown Winter Festival, and from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 16. Hours for all non-event days (Dec. 17-22) are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
