College hockey's road to 'The Joe'

DETROIT -- Semifinal match-ups for the CCHA championship at Joe Louis Arena have been finalized.

The No. 2 Miami Redhawks will face the No. 3 Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the first semifinal contest Friday, March 21 at 4:30 p.m. The top-seeded Michigan Wolverines will square-off against No. 4 Northern Michigan Wildcats in Friday’s second semifinal game at 8 p.m. The consolation game will take place Saturday at 3:30 p.m., followed by the championship game at 7:30 p.m. Both semifinal games and the championship game will be broadcast live on FSN Detroit. 

Tickets for all College Hockey at “The Joe” events are priced at $30, $24, $22, $15 and $10 and are available at the Joe Louis Arena box office and all Ticketmaster retail locations, including Hockeytown Cafe in Detroit and Hockeytown Authentics in Troy. Tickets may also be purchased online at or by calling 313-396-7575. The Joe Louis Arena box office is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

One of the best entertainment values in town is the Family Four Pack, which includes four general admission tickets to College Hockey at “The Joe”, four slices of Little Caesars pizza and four sodas, is available for only $44 and may be purchased in advance by calling 313-396-7575 or at the Joe Louis Arena box office.
