Tickets purchased in advance for the day will cost $10 per person, $15 per person at the door and all children under 10 are free. All tickets purchased will go into a drawing for raffle prizes that will be awarded throughout the day.
“This is our second season hosting this event while we not only exceeded our fundraising goals in 2009, we have increased our participation this year as well,” said Joe Kocur, president of the Detroit Red Wings Alumni Association. “With the help of the North West Oakland County businesses and exciting post-event entertainment, we anticipate doubling event attendance in 2010.”
During the event, participants can enjoy food and beverage provided by local businesses as well as entertainment by local celebrities. Prizes will be awarded during the games, while attendees can also join in on the silent auction filled with fabulous items to bid on. Between games you can get an autograph from your favorite former Red Wings or local celebrity. Kids will have their own baseball diamond filled with fun events and plenty of attractions. Various viewing bleachers and tents will be set up along the path near all four diamonds for supporters to watch and cheer their favorite charity or local public services. We recommend bringing lawn chairs as bleacher space is limited.ABOUT THE EVENT:
