DETROIT – Olympia Entertainment today announced that Arby’s Restaurant Group will be the presenting sponsor for all upcoming ‘College Hockey in the D’ events. This season’s edition of ‘College Hockey in the D’ includes the Great Lakes Invitational (Dec. 29/30), the annual UM-MSU Rivalry Game (Feb. 2) and a special ‘Celebrate the Legacy’ edition of the CCHA Championship (March 23/24).
“We’re very pleased that Arby’s has come on board as the presenting sponsor of our college hockey program,” says Olympia Entertainment Director of Strategic Hockey Alliances Mike Bayoff. “We’ve experienced significant growth in recent years and we look forward to continuing to expand and enhance our brand in partnership with one of the most successful quick-service sandwich chains in the country.”
Several exciting promotions will be enacted as part of this dynamic partnership in the coming months, beginning with a special contest that will afford local college hockey enthusiasts the opportunity to watch a game from one of Joe Louis Arena’s luxury suites. Beginning today, information on how to be entered into a draw for a chance to win a pair of suite tickets to either Day 2 of the Great Lakes Invitational (Dec. 30) or the annual UM-MSU Rivalry Game (Feb. 2) can be obtained by visiting any participating Arby’s location in the Great Lakes State.
“Arby’s is excited to be the presenting sponsor for all of the upcoming ‘College Hockey in the D’ events at Joe Louis Arena,” says Tina Hering, Regional Marketing Manager, Arby’s Restaurant Group. “Arby’s is a big supporter of Michigan sports and hockey, most notably The Big Chill at the Big House, and we want the fans to be able to get in on the action. Customers who come into participating Arby’s locations from now through January 13, have a chance to win suite tickets to the big games.”
Tickets to all three 2012-13 ‘College Hockey in the D’ events are currently available for purchase at the JLA Box Office (313-396-7575), all Ticketmaster (800-745-3000) outlets, and online at OlympiaEntertainment.com.
