Wolf Pack to Open Camp at MSG Training Center

by Staff Writer / New York Rangers

Hartford Wolf Pack General Manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that training camp will open Sunday, September 26 with physicals and medicals at the New York Rangers training facility in Greenburgh, New York. Approximately 40 hopefuls, including some of the organization's top prospects, will hit the ice beginning on September 27.

Currently, 29 players are confirmed to attend camp, including Wolf Pack captain Ken Gernander, Jozef Balej, the team's leading scorer from last season, and defenseman Fedor Tyutin.

In addition, players acquired at last year's trade deadline, including Dwight Helminen, Maxim Kondratiev and David Liffiton will all be appearing in their first training camp with the organization.

A number of additions are still expected to be made to the roster before camp opens.
