Wolf Pack Announce Pre-Season Slate

Hartford Wolf Pack General Manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today the schedule for the team's 2003 pre-season.

The first players assigned by the parent New York Rangers to Hartford will hit the ice for their first practice at the Hartford Civic Center Wednesday, September 17th. The Wolf Pack's first pre-season tilt is set for Friday, September 26th, vs. the Providence Bruins at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts (7:30 PM faceoff). The two teams will then complete a home-and-home series the next night, Saturday, September 27th, with a 7:05 PM game at Champions Skating Center in Cromwell. The Wolf Pack will be in action again on Sunday, September 28th, vs. the Worcester IceCats at the Wallace Civic Center in Fitchburg, Massachusetts (starting time TBA). Friday, October 3rd will find the Pack visiting the Springfield Falcons at the Springfield Civic Center (7:30), and the Wolf Pack will wrap up the pre-season Sunday, October 5th, with a game against Worcester at Veterans Memorial Skating Rink in West Hartford (4:00 PM faceoff). Ticket information for the Pack's "home" pre-season contests will be available at a later date.
