Hartford Wolf Pack General Manager Al Coates announced today the team’s eligibility list for the 2002 Calder Cup Playoffs.
As required by the American Hockey League, the Wolf Pack have listed 20 skaters and two goaltenders on their Clear Day list, making them eligible for the AHL’s postseason.
The Playoff roster includes forwards Bobby Andrews, Jason Dawe, Benoit Dusablon, Rico Fata, Ken Gernander, Christian Gosselin, Boyd Kane, Jamie Lundmark (right), Roman Lyashenko, Brad Mehalko, Cam Severson, Brad Smyth and John Tripp. Defensemen on the playoff list are: Sean Gagnon, Tomas Kloucek, Dave MacIsaac, Mike Mottau, Chris St. Croix, Terry Virtue and Marty Wilford. The two goaltenders are Johan Holmqvist and Scott Meyer.
Also today, the parent New York Rangers reassigned defensemen Wes Jarvis and Matt Kinch from the Wolf Pack to Charlotte of the East Coast Hockey League.
The Wolf Pack play three home games this weekend. Tomorrow night sees the Bridgeport Sound Tigers visit the Hartford Civic Center (7:05 PM faceoff), Springfield is in town on Saturday (7:05), and the Worcester IceCats pay a visit on Sunday (4:05).
