Weekly Prospect Update - Dec. 14

Tom Pyatt (Saginaw) -- Pyatt extended his point-scoring streak to six games with a goal in Saginaw's 4-2 loss to the London Knights before seeing his streak come to a halt in a 2-1 loss to the Barrie Colts. During that stretch, Tom tallied four goals and four assists to lead his team to a 4-2 record. He currently ranks fourth on the team with 30 points, and on the year, has 13 goals and 19, along with 19 penalty minutes in 28 games.

Brodie Dupont (Calgary) -- Dupont's play continues to improve. He is currently on a four game point-scoring streak with four goals and three assists. This includes one three-point game on Dec. 4 vs. Moose Jaw notching one goal and two assists earning him first star honors. He was named first star again on Dec. 7 in a two-point effort with one goal and one assist. He has 10 goals and nine assists for 19 points along with 53 penalty minutes. Dupont is currently second on the team in goals scored with 10.

Ryan Russell (Kootenay) -- Russell registered four goals and two assists in his last three games. He scored a hat trick and an assist Nov. 13 against Seattle and earned first star honors for his performance. He now has 21 goals and 24 assists along with 17 penalty minutes in 37 games played. He leads the team with 45 points and 21 goals and is tied for the team lead with 24 assists. His 45 points also rank him third in the WHL is scoring. He has registered at least one point in 28 of 37 games including twelve multi-point games. The Ice are now 23-5 when Russell notches at least one point.

Greg Moore (Maine) -- Moore registered two goals and one assist in a win over Northeastern this weekend earning first star honors. He scored the game-winning goal, giving him four on the season and the lead in game winning goals in Hockey East. He has played in 16 games and notched 10 goals and four assists along with 25 penalty minutes. He leads the team with 10 goals and is tied for third in scoring with 14 points. Moore has played in 80 straight games since January 16, 2004.

Joey Crabb (Colorado College)-- Crabb scored nearly a third of his points for the season this weekend, scoring five points this weekend in two games against Minnesota-Duluth. He started the weekend with a goal and two assists in Tigers' 7-2 thrashing of the Bulldogs. Crabb followed it up with two assists in a 4-3 loss to the same Bulldogs. In 20 games this season, Crabb has five goals and eleven assists for 16 points, along with 20 minutes.

Philippe Furrer (SC Bern) -- It's been a difficult year for Phillipe Furrer but this weekend he finally got on the scoresheet. He scored his first goal of the season Dec. 9 against Firbourg-Gotteron tallying the game-winning goal in a 3-0 victory. In 23 games this season, Furrer has a goal and 10 penalty minutes.

Jan Marek (Sparta Praha) -- Marek continues to be on a hot streak. He extended his point streak to five games by tallying a goal and an assist in two games this past weekend. Marek tallied the only goal for Sparta in a 6-1 loss to Ocelari Trinec. He followed it up with an assist at Pardubice in a 4-3 loss to Moeller Pardubice. During the streak, Marek has compiled two goals and five assists for seven points. For the season, he has 12 goals and 23 assists for 35 points, along with 34 penalty minutes. He is first on the club in assists, and second in goals and points.
