Viewing party draws thousands to `The Pond`

by Staff Writer / New York Rangers
More than 2,000 Rangers fans turned out on Wednesday evening at "The Pond" at Bryant Park for the first-ever MSG Network Viewing Party.

Fans attending the event lined up for autographs from Rangers alumni Rod Gilbert and Brian Mullen and competed in a trivia contest for the chance to win Rangers merchandise, gift bags and tickets to upcoming games.

MSG Network's Scott Lasky served as the emcee and host of the event, which was shown live during the network's broadcast of the game between the Rangers and Islanders.

The highlight of the evening was a chance to watch the Rangers perform on a big screen while enjoying a free skating session.
