Staal Invited to Team Canada Orientation Camp

Two Rangers players could be joining head coach John Tortorella as members of the 2010 U.S. Olympic team after being invited to the 2010 U.S. Olympic Men's Ice Hockey Orientation Camp, taking place Aug. 17-19 at Seven Bridges Ice Arena in Woodbridge, Ill.

Blueshirts captain Chris Drury and forward Ryan Callahan were both among the 34 players selected for the orientation camp on Tuesday. They were among the 19 forwards who made the first cut for a roster that will likely include 12 or 13 forwards at the Olympic Games in Vancouver from Feb. 12-28, 2010.

On Monday, USA Hockey named Tortorella an assistant coach of the team, which will be led by Toronto head coach Ron Wilson.
