Subscribers enjoy memorable day at Training Center

by Staff Writer / New York Rangers
At last summer's Prospect Development Camp, the Rangers began a new program for season subscribers, enabling a randomly chosen group of subscribers to spend a truly memorable day at the Madison Square Garden Training Center in Tarrytown, N.Y.

The highlight of the day is a meal with Rangers legend Adam Graves, who also joins the subscribers for a round-table discussion about the team and his own experiences in the NHL. The meal -- which has been both breakfast and lunch -- takes place in the same dining room used daily by Rangers players and coaches.

In addition to the meal and round-table discussion, these subscribers join Graves at rinkside to watch a Rangers practice. Subscribers get a unique opportunity to see the current team on the ice while gaining insight from a member of the 1994 Stanley Cup champions.

Graves himself was a big part of the movement to create these special visits to the Training Center, and he helped plan the program based on his own understanding of what Ranger fans want to know about the team.

So far, four such events have taken place. In addition to the Development Camp event, Training Center visits were held during the Rangers main training camp in September and again on Oct. 17 and Oct. 24. The visits have been a big hit with attendees, as is evidenced in the photo gallery linked below.
