The players stopped at each room, signing autographs, posing for pictures and handing out goodies from the Rangers Gift Chest.
"It feels good to be able to help out," stated Rozsival. "I'm glad all of the kids and their families enjoyed having us there."
A partner of the Garden of Dreams Foundation, the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital sets a new standard for children's hospitals. It is the fulfillment of a vision for a family-centered facility that combines the highest-level care possible in the most supportive and therapeutic environment. Dedicated to the philosophy that families are the most important partners in the healing process, Maria Fareri Children's Hospital has been developed as a benchmark for children's hospitals around the world for decades to come.
Betts, who has been instrumental in helping the Rangers kill penalties this season, understands how important it is for the children in the hospital to have moments like this to lift their spirits. "Hopefully these children will remember this day as a good day," he said. "And if I was able to contribute to that ... that definitely makes me feel good."
