On Nov. 19 and Dec. 10, prior to a pair of home games at Madison Square Garden, the Rangers staged two Season Subscriber Reunion Nights, continuing a new tradition that began last season.

These popular events bring together groups of Season Subscribers for meetings with Rangers Alumni. The groupings are based on the subscribers' tenure. Both the Nov. 19 and Dec. 10 honored subscribers with 10 or more years' tenure.

Season Subscriber Reunion Nights were developed in response to requests from season ticket-holders who wanted the chance to meet and greet some of their favorite players from the past. Attendees are treated to drinks and hors d'oeuvres, as well as autograph sessions with the featured Rangers Alumni.

At the Nov. 19 event, held prior to the home game in which Rangers captain Jaromir Jagr scored his 600th career goal, MSG's own John Giannone served as emcee for a panel of Rangers greats that included Adam Graves, Pete Stemkowski, Ron Greschner, and Ron Duguay. The discussion was lively and turned very passionate when topics such as shootouts and enforcers in the game were brought up.

The Dec. 10 gathering, which featured Graves, Brian Mullen, Glenn Anderson and Duguay, was also a big hit. Giannone again led the discussion, which began with a welcome from Graves, who spoke about how much subscribers mean to the Rangers organization. The former Rangers then fielded numerous great questions from the crowd, many of which displayed the depth of knowledge and appreciation for team history common to so many Season Subscribers.

More reunion nights are planned for subscribers of various tenure lengths, so keep an eye out for your e-mail invitation to one of these exclusive subscriber events. Please note, of course, that due to the size of our subscription base we will continue these events into next season until all subscribers have had the opportunity to attend one.
