Four out of six points for the Wolf Pack this past weekend leaves the team in second place in the Atlantic Division with a record of 35-17-1-2 and 73 points, five points back of division-leading Manchester. The club continues to lead the league with the best home record (23-4-0-1) and in penalty minutes with 1,682. The Wolf Pack are rated fourth overall in penalty-killing this week with a 88.4% efficiency and eighth overall with the man advantage with a 17.1% efficiency rating.

Goaltender Steve Valiquette continues to lead the league's netminders with a goals against average of 1.71, and has the second-best saves percentage at .935. Lawrence Nycholat is in seventh place among league defensemen with 32 points (5-27).

The Charlotte Checkers closed their recent 10-game stretch with a 2-1 loss to Gwinnett on Sunday. The Checkers posted a 6-3-1 mark in those 10 games, which fell over a grueling 13-day stretch. Charlotte is now 31-19-3 overall on the season.

Ryan Callahan (Guelph) - Callahan has recorded 4 points in his last 4 games, including a multi-point game last Thursday in a 7-4 win over Peterborough when he netted two goals in 2:04 to tie the game at 4 after his team trailed 4-1 after the first period, giving Guelph all the momentum it would need...Over the weekend he added another assist as Guelph edged out London 2-1... He has registered 26 goals and 21 assists for 47 points, along with 84 penalty minutes in 49 games

Jakub Petruzalek (Ottawa) - Petruzalek registered three points in his last 3 games, all wins for Ottawa. In his latest game, a 4-3 win over Oshawa, he netted the game winning goal with just over 10 minutes to play, en route to being named the game's 1st star. He also added 2 assists on Friday night as Ottawa shutout Peterborough 4-0...Petruzalek leads all OHL rookies in assists with 35 and ranks 3rd in points with 55. As a rookie Petruzalek is among team leaders in multiple offensive categories, including goals (20; 4th), assists (35, first) and points (55, first).

Zdenek Bahensky (Saskatoon) - Registered a three-game point streak from Feb. 11 to Feb. 15, scoring three points (1 goal, two assists). Tied for second in the WHL with four short-handed goals. Ranks second on the team with four short-handed goals and sixth on the team with fourteen goals. Tied for seventh in points scored by rookies in the WHL with 29 points (fourteen goals, 15 assists)...Has posted 14 goals and 15 assists for 29 points along with 81 penalty minutes in 55 games. The Blades are 15-6-0 when he registers a point.

Ivan Baranka (Everett) - Named 1st star of the game on Feb. 13 vs. Spokane (W 4-2)...Has totaled seven goals and 12 assists for 19 points, along with 48 penalty minutes in 53 games.

Dane Byers (Prince Albert) - Ranks second on his team with 164 penalty minutes...Has skated in 54 contests so far this season, tallying 14 points (eight goals, six assists)

Rick Kozak (Prince Albert) - Current two-game goal streak from Feb. 18 to Feb. 19, scoring two points (two goals). He ranks first on his team with 168 penalty minutes. Has13 goals and 11 assists for 24 points, along with 168 penalty minutes in 43 games.

Roman Psurny (Medicine Hat) - Named 2nd star of the game on Feb. 19 vs. Saskatoon (W 6-3). Among WHL rookies, ranks third in scoring with 42 points, third with 18 goals and first with a +25 rating. 59 games, notching 42 points (18 goals, 24 assists) and 57 penalty minutes

Marcus Jonasen (Tri-City) - Recorded a 0-1-1 on Feb. 19 vs. Spokane (W 6-2). Registered a three-game point streak from Feb.11 to Feb.13, scoring four points (two goals, two assists). Ranks first on the team with 19 goals and is tied for fourth on the club with 36 points...Has posted 19 goals and 17 assists for 36 points, along with 53 penalty minutes in 58 games.

Brandon Dubinsky (Portland) - Named 3rd star of the game on Feb.18 vs. Spokane (L 3-7). On Portland, he ranks fourth in goals (20), fourth in assists (28), fourth in points (48) and second in penalty minutes (135). Has recorded 20 goals and 28 assists for 48 points, along with 135 penalty minutes in 55 games.

Nigel Dawes (Kootenay) - Named 2nd star on Feb. 19 @ Calgary (T 3-3) and on Feb 20. @ Medicine Hat (W 2-0). Current eight-game point streak from Feb. 3 to Feb. 20, scoring 18 points (12 goals, six assists). Named 2nd star on Feb. 15 vs. Prince George (W 8-0). Ranks first on his team with team with 38 goals and fifteen power play goals. Ranks 2nd in the WHL with 38 goals and first with 12 game-winning goals. Has registered 38 goals and 23 assists for 61 points, along with 28 penalty minutes in 52 games

Bruce Graham (Moncton) - Graham is expected to return to the lineup some time this week...In his absence Moncton has gone just 3-12-3, including a 6-game losing streak which they just recently snapped in a 3-1 win over Cape Breton...Before Graham's injury Moncton was atop their division and had the league's best record; since his injury they've dropped from both those rankings

Al Montoya (Michigan) - Montoya racked up another two wins this past weekend, and continues to league the CCHA in wins with 23. He also recorded 2 victories last weekend over fellow Rangers prospect Chris Holt and Nebraska-Omaha, stopping 35 of 42 shots...Named the 3rd star in last Saturday's game against Nebraska-Omaha in a 4-3 win...Ranks T-6th in the CCHA with a GAA of 2.69 and ranks 8th in saves with 694... In 32 games has a record of 23-6-3, along with a goals against average of 2.69 and save percentage of .891. He is 10-2-2 since returning from the WJC with a Save % of .885 and a GAA of 2.86 over the span.

Chris Holt (Nebraska-Omaha) - After dropping two games to Al Montoya and the Wolverines last week, Holt bounced back with two solid performances this past weekend, picking up a win and a tie...While stopping 26 shots in both games, Holt still ranks 2nd in the CCHA in saves with 830 and is T-6th in the conference with Montoya with a GAA of 2.69...Appeared in 31 games, posting a 16-11-4 record along with a 2.69 goals against average and a .909 save percentage.

Darin Olver (Northern Michigan) - Olver has been red hot as of late, having recorded at least one point in his last 3 games, including 2 multi-point games over the span...This past weekend he recorded a total of three points including a pair of assists in Saturday's 5-3 win over Michigan Tech...Registered a goal and two assists last Sun. Feb. 12th in a 5-1 victory over Western Michigan en route to being named the game's 2nd star...Has recorded at least one point in 7 of his last 10 games including 4 multi-point games...Olver leads his team in both points (32) and assists (25)...Has posted 9 multi-point games and 6 multi-assist games.

Greg Moore (Maine) - Current two-game point streak from Feb.18 to Feb. 19, scoring two points (one goal, one assist). Ranks first on his team with twelve goals, ranks first with nine power-play goals, and fourth with 19 points...Has 12 goals and seven assists for 19 points, along with fourteen penalty minutes in 32 games.

Jan Marek (Sparta Praha) - Current three-game point streak from Feb. 15 to Feb. 20, scoring seven points (1 goal, six assists). He has seven multiple-point games this season. In 35 games, notching 26 points (six goals, 20 assists) and 20 penalty minutes.

Peter Prucha (Pardubice) - Current two-game point streak from Feb. 18 to Feb. 20, scoring two points (2 goals)...Appeared in 44 games, notching 14 points (5 goals, 9 assists) and 22 penalty minutes.
