Ryan McDonagh tallied two points (one goal, one assist). McDonagh led Rangers defensemen in assists and points in 2016-17.
Jimmy Vesey recorded the game-winning goal. He became the first Rangers rookie to tally six game-winning goals in one season since Mike Ridley in 1985-86.
Magnus Hellberg made 22 saves to earn his first career NHL win while making his first career NHL start in tonight's contest.
Mika Zibanejadtallied two assists. He registered a point in six of the final nine regular season games in 2016-17, tallying nine points (three goals, six assists) over the span.

Alain Vigneault earned his 614th win as an NHL head coach in tonight's game, passing Jacques Martin for sole possession of 14th place on the NHL's all-time wins list among head coaches. Vigneault coached his 328th career game with the Rangers, passing Tom Renney for sole possession of fourth place on the franchise's all-time games coached list.
