Rangers to Host Holiday Toy Drives

by Staff Writer / New York Rangers

The New York Rangers, as part of Rangers Cheering for Children program, a division of the Madison Square Garden Cheering for Children Foundation, are pleased to continue their support of the United States Marine Corps efforts on behalf of the Toys for Tots program.

Members of the Rangers will hold two toy drives throughout the New York metropolitan area during this holiday season, collecting toys for young children. All fans that bring an unwrapped toy to any of the collections will receive one autographed item from the participating players at that event. The donated toys will be distributed by the United States Marine Corps. This year marks the ninth annual Rangers toy drive.

The first toy drive of the season will take place on Tuesday, December 10 at Radio City Music Hall. The toy drive will consist of two sessions, featuring seven different Rangers players. The first session will take place from 2:15 PM to 3:30 PM and the second session will begin at 5:15 PM and will culminate at 6:30 PM.

The second toy drive of the season will take place on Tuesday, December 17 at Cronies Restauraunt in New York City. The drive will take place from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
