Rangers To Be At Your Service As Tickets Go On Sale

by Staff Writer / New York Rangers
The Czech Line as ticket sellers? Mike Richter and Kim Johnnson as line ushers? Manny Malhotra and Eric Lacroix as concession stand operators? That’s exactly what you’ll find on Monday, September 18 when several members of the New York Rangers will be greeting fans, assisting in ticket sales, and serving coffee and donuts to celebrate the on sale date of individual game tickets for the Rangers entire 2000-2001 National Hockey League season. The event will take place beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Madison Square Garden box office.

As part of the ticket sale, the club will stage an Open Practice for all fans at Madison Square Garden, beginning at 12 noon. MSG Network’s John Davidson and Sam Rosen will host this event, which is free to the first 10,000 fans. Doors will open at The Garden at 11:00 AM. Raffle prizes for autographed Rangers merchandise will be featured, along with special concourse activities for adults and children, such as face painting and a MSG Network “Classic Calls” Booth.
