New York Rangers General Manager Jeff Gorton announced today that the team has recalled forward Matt Beleskey from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Beleskey has skated in 15 games with the Wolf Pack this season, registering three goals and seven assists for 10 points, along with a plus-four rating and nine penalty minutes. He is tied for fourth on the Wolf Pack (min. 10 games played) in points per game this season (0.67), and he is also tied for third on the team in plus/minus rating in 2018-19. Beleskey has tallied an assist/point in each of his last three AHL games with the Wolf Pack (five assists over the span). He established single-game AHL career-highs with three assists and a plus-three rating, and he also tied an AHL single-game career-high with three points, in the Wolf Pack's 5-3 win on Dec. 1 against Charlotte. In addition, Beleskey has recorded seven points (two goals, five assists) over his last five AHL games and nine points (two goals, seven assists) in his last eight AHL contests with Hartford.

The 6-0, 207-pounder was also recalled by the Rangers this season on Dec. 2, and he was credited with four hits while making his NHL season debut with the Blueshirts that night against Winnipeg. Beleskey has skated in 474 career NHL games over parts of 11 seasons in the league (2008-09 - 2018-19), including two contests with the Blueshirts.
