Rangers Recall Lundmark, Tripp From Hartford (AHL)

Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that the club has recalled forwards Jamie Lundmark and John Tripp (right) from Hartford of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Lundmark has appeared in 17 games with New York this season, collecting his first NHL assist/point, along with four penalty minutes. In 20 games with Hartford, the Edmonton, Alberta native registered nine goals and eight assists for 17 points, along with 16 penalty minutes.

Tripp ranks second in the AHL with 21 goals and fourth in the league with 139 shots on goal. He also ranks second on the Wolf Pack with 32 points (21 goals, 11 assists) in 38 games. The 6-3, 225-pound native of Kingston, Ontario was named to the 2003 Canadian AHL All-Star roster, marking his first trip to the All-Star Classic.
