Rangers recall goaltender Holt

New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that goaltender Chris Holt has been recalled from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Holt, 20, has posted a 2-2-1 record in eight games with Hartford (AHL) this season, along with a 4.39 goals against average and a .874 save percentage. In 16 games with the Charlotte Checkers of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL), the rookie out of the University of Nebraska-Omaha has posted a 6-6-0 mark, along with a 3.73 goals against average and a .899 save percentage.

Holt also appeared in one game with the Rangers this season on December 3 at Washington and did not allow a goal in 10:24 of action.
