Rangers Recall Forward Michal Grosek from Hartford (AHL)

New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that the club has recalled forward Michal Grosek from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Grosek, 25, tallied 15 points (eight goals, seven assists) along with eight penalty minutes in 12 games upon being assigned to Hartford on February 13th.

The 6'2" 216-pounder has played in 49 games with the Rangers this season, notching 11 points (four goals, seven assists) and accumulating 26 penalty minutes.

A native of Vyskov, Czech Republic, Grosek was acquired by the Rangers from the Chicago Blackhawks, along with Brad Brown, for future considerations on October 5, 2000.
