Rangers Recall Forward Jeff Ulmer from Hartford (AHL)

New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that the club has recalled forward Jeff Ulmer from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).
The 5'11" 190-pounder has skated in 43 games for the Wolf Pack this season, recording 11 goals and 14 assists for 25 points. The native of Wilcox, Saskatchewan, played four seasons at the University of North Dakota (1995-99), winning the NCAA championship with the Fighting Sioux in 1997. He spent most of last season with the Canadian National Team before joining the IHL's Houston Aeros, who were coached by current Rangers bench boss Ron Low.
He will wear number-38 with the Rangers
Ulmer, 23, was signed as a free agent by the New York Rangers on July 27, 2000.
