Rangers Recall Forward Derek Armstrong and Goaltender Vitali Yeremeyev from Hartford (AHL)

New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that the club has recalled forward Derek Armstrong and goaltender Vitali Yeremeyev from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Armstrong, 27, has tallied a team-high 46 points (15 goals, 31 assists) along with 37 penalty minutes in 36 games with Hartford this season. Upon being recalled, the 6'1" 193-pounder was in a midst of a seven-game point-scoring streak, notching 15 points (three goals, 12 assists) during the span.
Yeremeyev, 25, has posted a 6-5-1 record along with a team-high 1.94 goals-against average and an AHL-best .942 save percentage. The Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan native turned aside 13 of 14 shots faced in a relief appearance for the Rangers on December 27 in Carolina.
