Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that forward Rico Fata has been recalled from Hartford (AHL).
Prior to his AHL assignment on November 7, Fata appeared in five matches with New York after being claimed on waivers from Calgary on October 3. In 22 games with the Wolf Pack, he leads the team with 28 points (13 goals, 15 assists).
The native of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario was Calgary's first round draft choice, sixth overall, in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft.
