New York Rangers General Manager Jeff Gorton announced today that the team has recalled goaltender Dustin Tokarski from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL). In addition, the Blueshirts have assigned Matt Beleskey, Alexandar Georgiev, and Vinni Lettieri to Hartford.
Tokarski has appeared in 10 games with the Wolf Pack this season, posting a 5-3-1 record, along with a 3.38 GAA and a .897 SV%. He has earned a win in each of his last four appearances, and he has made at least 30 saves in each of his last two appearances. Tokarski stopped 42 of 43 shots he faced and was selected as the game's First Star in Hartford's 3-1 win against Bridgeport on Nov. 24. Beleskey was recalled by the Rangers on Dec. 2 and was credited with four hits in the Blueshirts' game that night against Winnipeg. He has skated in 14 games with the Wolf Pack this season, registering three goals and six assists for nine points, along with a plus-three rating and nine penalty minutes. He established single-game AHL career-highs with three assists and a plus-three rating, and tied an AHL single-game career-high with three points in the Wolf Pack's 5-3 win on Dec. 1 against Charlotte.
