Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that forwards Josh Green
and Billy Tibbetts

were reassigned to Hartford of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Green, acquired from the Edmonton Oilers on December 12 in exchange for a 2004 conditional draft choice, has appeared in 24 games this season between the Oilers and Rangers, collecting two assists. The 6-4, 215-pound winger has appeared in four games with the Rangers since the trade, recording two penalty minutes.
Tibbetts, who has skated in 11 games with New York since being recalled from Hartford on December 16, has posted 12 penalty minutes. In 16 matches with Hartford this season, the 6-2, 215-pound forward registered five goals and five assists for 10 points, along with 81 penalty minutes. Tibbits, who was signed to a professional tryout contract by Hartford earlier in the season, agreed to terms on a deal with the Rangers on December 16.
Lintner has appeared in nine games with the Blueshirts this season, tallying one goal. In 16 games with the Pack, the 6-3, 212-pound blueliner has notched three goals and 10 assists for 13 points. Lintner was acquired by the Rangers from the Predators on March 19, 2002 in exchange for defenseman Peter Smrek.
