Rangers Reassign Seven Players to Their Respective Teams

59 Active Players Remain on New York Roster

New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that the club has reassigned seven players to their respective teams. The Rangers now have 59 players remaining in training camp, including five goaltenders, 20 defensemen and 34 forwards.

Training Camp continues on Saturday, September 17 with a Blue -White Scrimmage, beginning at 4:00 PM at the Madison Square Garden Training Center. The club will conclude its first week of training camp on Sunday, September 18. New York begins the exhibition schedule Tuesday, September 20 when they travel to Long Island to face the Islanders.

Defense:
Dayln Flatt (Saskatoon, WHL) Hannu Pikkarainen (HIFK Helsinki) and Michael Sauer (Portland, WHL).

Forwards:
Zdenek Bahensky (Saskatoon, WHL), Dane Byers (Prince Albert, WHL), Roman Psurny (Medicine Hat, WHL) and Tommy Pyatt (Saginaw, OHL).
