Rangers Reassign Malhotra and Doig to Hartford for Two Week Conditioning Stint

New York Rangers President and General Manager Neil Smith announced today that the club has reassigned center Manny Malhotra and defenseman Jason Doig to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League for a two-week conditioning stint. The reassignment is effective beginning Wednesday, January 19, as the Wolf Pack open a slate of eight games in the next 11 days. Hartford will visit the Lowell Lock Monsters tomorrow night.
Malhotra, 19, has appeared in 25 games with New York this season, collecting four penalty minutes. Doig, 22, has notched one assist in six matches this season, along with 18 penalty minutes.
