Hartford Wolf Pack General Manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the New York Ranger organization has reassigned left wing Lucas Lawson to the Wolf Pack from the Pack's ECHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers.
Lawson recorded one assist and a +1 rating in four games with the Wolf Pack before being assigned to the Checkers on October 28. He was Charlotte's leading point producer with four goals and six assists for 10 points in 10 games, along with two penalty minutes and a +4 rating.
A 24-year-old native of Braeside, Ontario, Lawson signed with the Rangers as a free agent April 4, after playing three seasons at the University of Maine.
The Wolf Pack are back in action tomorrow night, Wednesday, November 26, hosting the Manchester Monarchs at the Hartford Civic Center (7:05 PM ET). The Pack will also host the defending Calder Cup champion Houston Aeros this Saturday, November 29 (7:05 PM ET).
