Several of the New York Rangers top prospects will be attending a Rookie Tournament from Friday, September 1 through Monday, September 4 in Kitchener, Ontario. The tournament, which also features young players from the Buffalo Sabres, Toronto Maple Leafs and Carolina Hurricanes, consists of a three-game round robin format. All games will be played at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Complex. This marks the second season that the Rangers top prospects have attended the tournament in Kitchener.
The Rangers roster for this pre-training camp tournament includes several top prospects, including forwards Pavel Brendl, Stefan Cherneski, Brandon Dietrich, Sven Helfenstein and Jamie Lundmark, along with defensemen Filip Novak and Martin Richter.
