Rangers prospect Brad Morrison notched his eighth goal of the season for Prince George in its loss to fellow Rangers prospect Ty Ronning and the Vancouver Giants.

Morrison's goal snapped a four-game drought for the 2014 fourth-round pick, and now gives him 22 points in 19 games this season for the Cougars.

Ronning, meanwhile, was held off the scoresheet but was a plus-1 on the night.

Defenseman Segery Zborovskiy registered an assist in Regina's 5-4 overtime win over Moose Jaw Thursday night. The 2015 third-round selection has a goal and 11 assists for 12 points in 13 games this season for the Pats.

Earlier in the week, the Hartford Wolf Pack recalled goaltender Brandon Halverson from the ECHL, while sending fellow netminder Mackenzie Skapski down to the Swamp Rabbits. Halverson is 3-1 with a 1.70 GAA and a .943 SV% with Greenville.

Goaltender Tyler Wall was named the Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week. He is 5-1-1 with a 1.79 GAA and a .932 SV%.
