Prospect Update: Morrison With Goal, Assist

Forward Brad Morrison picked up a goal and added an assist in Prince George's 7-0 win over Kamloops Saturday night.

The 2015 fourth-round pick has points in three straight and has seven multi-point games thus far this season. Morrison has nine goals and 15 assists for 24 points in 20 games for the Cougars.

Staying out west, 2015 second-round pick Ryan Gropp extended his point streak to eight with an assist in Seattle's 5-3 defeat of Vancouver. Gropp has at least a point in nine of his 11 games this season and has two goals and eight assists total.

Over in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, 2016 sixth-round pick Gabriel Fontaine registered an assist in Rouyn-Noranda's 4-0 win over Blainville-Boisbriand Saturday night. Fontaine has seven goals and eight assists for 15 points in 14 games for the Huskies.

The Hartford Wolf Pack were defeated, 3-2, in overtime by Utica Saturday night. Mat Bodie scored while Marek Hrivik and Michael Paliotta each had assists.
