Series tied 1-1
After taking Game One with a 3-2 victory, the Medicine Hat Tigers dropped Game Two, 4-3, to the Red Deer Rebels on Sunday as the series became knotted at one game apiece. Tigers forward Roman Psurny collected two penalty minutes in defeat and has registered a +1 rating and four penalty minutes in the first two matches. The two teams prepare to meet again in Game Three on Tuesday, March 29.

Everett (Baranka) 2, Portland (Dubinsky) 1
Series tied 1-1
Brandon Dubinsky tallied his third goal in two games but his Portland Winter Hawks dropped a 2-1 decision to Ivan Baranka and the visiting Everett Silvertips on Sunday. Dubinsky netted two goals, added an assist and earned first star of the game honors in the Winter Hawk's 3-0 win in the Game One of their WHL Quarterfinals series on Friday. Baranka posted a +1 rating in the Tips win to even the series at 1-1. The two teams meet again in Game Three in Everett on Tuesday, March 29.

Djurgårdens 0, Frölunda (Lundqvist) 4
Frölunda wins series, 4-1
As dominant as Henrik Lundqvist was during the regular season for Frölunda, he has been even more spectacular thus far through nine playoff games. New York's seventh round draft choice (205th overall) in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft turned aside all 16 shots he faced on Sunday as Frölunda eliminated Djurgardens from post-season play with a 4-0 win in Game Five of their second round Swedish Elite League series. Lundqvist leads all SEL netminders in all categories, incliding: goals against (11), goals against average (1.20), save percentage (.956) and shutouts (3) in nine games, posting an 8-1 mark over the span. Frölunda swept through the first round, eliminating Lulea in four straight games.

Pardubice (Prucha) 4, Liberec 0
Pardubice leads series, 3-1
Rangers forward prospect Petr Prucha continued his solid post-season play as Pardubice blanked Liberec, 4-0, on Sunday to take a 3-1 lead in their best-of-seven Czech Republic Extra League Semifinals series. Prucha netted a goal and an assist on the night and has now posted seven points (three goals, four assists) in 11 post-season matches.

HPK 3, TPS (Korpikoski) 0
HPK wins series, 4-2
Lauri Korpikoski and TPS watched their 2004-05 season officially come to a close on Sunday as they were eliminated from the playoffs following a 3-0 loss to HPK in Game Six of their best-of-seven first round series. Korpikoski tallied a goal in the six games.
