Prospect Update: Howden, Ronning and Day in Action

Brett Howden scored a goal, added an assist and was named the game's third star in a 6-2 win for Moose Jaw over Lethbridge in the Western Hockey League.

The 19-year-old has points in four of his last five games and has 21 multi-point games this season. The center has 24 goals and 41 assists for 65 points in 43 games played this season for the Warriors.

Ty Ronning scored a power play goal for Vancouver, who topped Kelowna, 4-3, in overtime Wednesday night. Ronning, who signed his entry-level contract earlier this week with the Rangers, now has 56 goals on the season to go with 22 assists for 78 points in 65 games.

Sean Day assisted on all three of Kingston's goals in a 5-3 loss to Oshawa in the Ontario Hockey League. The defenseman is riding a three-game assist streak that's seen him post six helpers, and seven in his last five contests. Overall, he has five goals and 37 assists for 42 points in 45 games split between Kingston and Windsor this season.
