Rangers 2015 second-round pick Ryan Gropp had a goal and an assist in a losing effort for Seattle Wednesday night, who were topped by Kamloops, 4-3, in overtime in the Western Hockey League.

Gropp has been hot as of late with goals in three straight games, and has points in four of his last five. The winger has six goals and 10 assists for 16 points in 19 games overall for the Thunderbirds.
Over in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, 2016 sixth-rounder Gabriel Fontaine extended his point streak to five games with an assist in a Rouyn-Noranda 7-6 shootout win over Cape Breton Wednesday night. Fontaine has a goal and seven assists during the streak and eight goals and 15 assists for 23 points in 20 games this season for the Huskies.
Wrapping up the night in the CHL, forward Tim Gettinger picked up an assist and was a plus-2 in Sault Ste. Marie's 4-1 win over Windsor Wednesday night in the Ontario Hockey League. The big left winger has points in four straight games (2 G, 4 A) and 11 points (6 G, 5 A) in his last seven. The 2016 fifth-round selection has 11 goals and nine assists for 20 points in 25 games for the Greyhounds this season, good enough for fifth on the squad.
Lastly, forward Adam Chapie had a pair of goals in Greenville's 4-1 win over Atlanta in the ECHL. The forward, who was signed by the Rangers in April as an undrafted college free agent, has two goals and two assists for four points in his last two games, and three goals and three assists in his last five contests.
