Prospect Update: Gettinger With Three Assists

Plus Ronning, Fontaine and Huska In Action

Forward prospect Tim Gettinger had three assists in Sault Ste. Marie's 6-0 win over Guelph Friday night in the Ontario Hockey League. The 2016 fifth round pick has five points and three assists for eight points in his last five games, and has 28 goals and 20 assists for 48 points in 55 games this season for the Greyhounds.

Ty Ronning had a goal and an assists for Vancouver in its 5-4 OT loss to Portland in the Western Hockey League. The 2016 seventh round pick has seven points in his last six games, and 24 goals with 26 assists for 50 points through 61 games for the Giants.

Gabriel Fontaine had an assist Friday for Rouyn-Noranda in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, and has three assists in his four last contests. Fontaine has 20 goals and 27 assists for 47 points in 54 contests for the Huskies.

Lastly, Adam Huska made 26 saves for UConn in its 3-1 loss to Northeastern Friday night in Game 1 of their best-of-three Hockey East Opening Round. Game 2 is Saturday night.
