Prospect Update: Gettinger Produces For Greyhounds

Plus Updates on Day, Morrison and Skapski

Starting the update off in the Ontario Hockey League where forward Tim Gettinger tallied a goal and an assist in Sault Ste. Marie's 4-1 win over Kingston Friday night.

The left winger has five points in his last two games after registering a hat trick Wednesday. The 2016 fifth-rounder has nine goals and five assists for 14 points in 20 games this season with the Greyhounds.

 

Defenseman Sean Day scored a goal and had three shots in Windsor's 2-1 overtime win over Sarnia Friday night.

Since being acquired by the Spitfires, the 2016 third-round pick has four goals and four assists for eight points in 10 games, and has seven goals and six assists for 13 points in 15 games overall.

Out in the Western Hockey League, Brad Morrison had an assist in Prince George's 4-2 win over Prince Albert. The 2015 fourth-round pick has five points in his last five games for the Cougars, and has nine goals and 16 assists for 25 points in 22 games. He's currently 19th in scoring in the WHL.

Down in the ECHL, goaltender Mackenzie Skapski made 32 saves in Greenville's 4-3 shootout win over Florida. The win was Skapski's first of the season.
