Prospect Update: Gettinger Scores, Gropp With Assist

Winger Tim Gettinger tallied a goal in Sault Ste. Marie's 6-1 win over Kitchener in the Ontario Hockey League Friday night.

Gettinger has two goals and four assists in his last five games with the Greyhouds. The 2017 fifth round pick has a career-high 29 goals and 50 points, and is one assist shy of his career-best 22 helpers.

Ryan Gropp had an assist in Seattle's 3-2 win over Everett in the Western Hockey League. Gropp has six goals and seven assists in his last eight games. The 2015 second round pick has 31 goals and a career-high 47 assists to go along with a career-best 78 points in 62 games this season. 

Forward Ty Ronning had an assist Friday for Vancouver. The 2016 seventh round pick has eight points in his last eight games, and 24 goals and 51 points overall.

Lastly, Taylor Beck scored his first goal with the Hartford Wolf Pack in a loss to Wilkes-Barre/ Scranton.
